Craig Olsen is considered one of the most creative and sought after talents in the design industry. With a strong profile of residential and commercial clients, Olsen’s style is the “little black dress of design” -classic design with modern sensibility. Applying a hands on approach, Olsen designs around each client’s individual personality, with the belief that people should be surrounded by the things they love.
Craig Olsen studied and earned his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.
After receiving his degree he went to work with David Gaines, a prominent art and antique dealer in Seattle. Working with Gaines, Craig learned a sense of classic design and lifestyle while cultivating his fresh innovative twist on modern interiors.
In the late 90s Craig moved to Los Angeles and opened PLANTATION, a furniture showroom on La Brea – followed by his custom furniture-manufacturing showroom, BAMBOO COLONY.
Wanting a more intimate, hands on experience with his clients encompassing all areas of interior design, CRAIG OLSEN DESIGN was born!
Craig Olsen is also dedicated to supporting other artistic endeavors. He sits on the board of the Barak Ballet Company and is a Trustee of The Edward F Limato Foundation.
